Hard to say, but I do know, from experience, if you freeze it first you can figure about a 20% increase in distance. Don't try doing it with a live one. They just flap around a lot and really screw up the flight arc. Have fun, and enjoy the BBQ after. They taste like chicken.

Good question, Take a smaller penguin maybe a blue eye over an emperor, and if the wind is behind it, and the catapult is strong enough, I'd say a good few hundred meters.

idk, probably not very far cuz they aren't built for flying, so they would probably just fall out of the air when the energy from the cannon ran out.
