Strength train your shoulder internal and external rotators, all the way through the range. You may be tempted to only strength train the internals because that is the way you swing, but the externals are just as important for speed, since they are the ones that eccentrically stop the swing and create the force. =)
Also work on your forearm pronators and supinators.

Practice your swing underwater. Stand in pool that comes up to your neck and swing away. You will be amazed at the results. Just don't try to swing too hard.
Practice running with a parachute. You may have to find a trainer for this one, though.
Oh, and use a wooden bat. It will be better in the long run. And DO NOT use weight rings on your bat. It screws up your swing and can cause injury.

To Help improve your swing get two tennis balls and hold them in each hand and get in your batting stance and just act like you doing a regular swing, let go of them and try to keep them as close together as possible if they hit far apart it means your stance needs fixing or your mechanics do, For fear of getting hit let someone peg you with tennis balls, yea sounds stupid but are high school coach did it because we keep moving out of the way of pitches. i got hit twice yesterday and the guy was throwing about 70 and it really didn't hurt you just gotta take one and get on base. Bat Speed really just comes from mechanics and finding your stance. try standing close to a fence a couple of feet away and drive the nob of your bat and get some whip on It and bat speed will come. just remember always drive the nob and swing with your hips not arms. powers in the hips. For your stance try maybe keeping the bat a little high and put more weight on your back foot. its really what works with you and you yourself has to find that. hope some of this helps. Good Luck.

When youre on deck, I would use a heavier wooden bat. When ever im just practicing or fooling around with friends, I use a wooden bat, and when I pick up the Aluminum bat, its nearly weightless. I found a significant improvement in my swing from it. Also, hang a wiffle golfball from a string so that its about even with where you swing and hit it with a thin wiffle bat and it will improve accuracy.

upper body workouts like your chest, forearms, and everything else. for a simple quick fix in batting speed, use the doughnuts. those weighted circular weights that you can slide on your bat? sell them at any sporting goods store. prior to your at bat, slide it on and swing as hard as you can for about 5 minutes. when you take the wieght off, it'll feel like the bat isn't even there.

Use a heavy bat, then a light one will seem easy to swing.
