I saw some 7 inch ones on ebay wirhout a platform, they looked impossible to walk in. I wear 4 inch stillettos all the time. 4 and 5 inch are pretty pratical and with practice you can perfect walking in them.

No thats not true. I have several pairs of 5 inch heels. I dont know what the "limit" is for height. I actually tried on a pair of 6 inch heels once but I couldnt walk in them.....i think at some point they simply become fetish shoes with heels so high they arent practical.....4 or 5 inch i would say is tops for practicality and even 5 inches might be a stretch.....

I have purchase 8 inch stillettos. I think they may even make them higher, but I know for sure you can find 8 inch heels online.

I think it's more like 6... basically, stand as high on your tip toes as you can, and have someone measure the distance from your heel to the ground - that's the practical height limit. Any higher than that and walking isn't really possible. Of course, by putting a platform on the front of the shoe, you can make them as high as you'd like.
