I was...still am some. But it's been a gradual process, like shedding layers of dead skin or something. I know I'll never be as outgoing as I apparently appear to be, but...I like me, anyway :)

Yes, extremely shy because i fear rejection, but like you was rewarded when able to get past it. If i i can overcome the fear & have a little more confidence i would be happier. I'm just afraid of failure & have had too much of it.

I'm very outspoken, but back in the day (I'm talking elementary school here) i was extrememly shy.
at the end of the year they'd give awards to all the kids, i got the shy award 5 years straight!
i dont know how i over came it, it comes out every now and then, but it's just something you have to get over.

i was really shy when i was younger, then came outta my shell, now that i m older i find myself going back in. I do tend to get intimidated by ppl. So heck yes I wish I could overcome it once and for all.

I've never been the shy type, but my sister has overcome her shyness.

I used to be so shy it was awful everytime i went out it wasn't fun like it should have been but as I got older and didn't care too much what people thought it got better now life is wonderful.

Sometimes i am some of time not. In person i am way more shy i get nervious around people i not know so well. Im shy around boys too but never around my friends.

Yes, I'm very shy. Sometimes I wish I weren't so quiet, but I think I've gotten used to it now. I'm better off this way.
