You are perfectly with in your rights to follow the rules set out by your divorce agreement.
BUT
(Don't you hate that word....)
Here is the thing. He's their father. And it is in the kids best interest that you take the high road. Try to meet him half way. Do what ever you can to make this as easy as possible for the kids.
They did not ask for this.
Life is hard enough with out adding drama to it all. Yes it is a pain in the A** for you. But 20 years from now your kids will know you took the high road, and they will love you for it.
Always think of the kids first.
Also...getting lawyers involved will just drain your bank account.
Good luck to you. I am sorry you are having to deal with this mess and hope you can make the best of it.

No, he can not file contempt on you. You however, can file against him. If it states in your divorce decree that he has to come to your home to pick up your child, then that is what he has to do. Tell your ex. that you are beating him to filing for contempt. You don't have to take his crap anymore. Good luck and GOD bless you.

Your divorce decree determines the rules. He can file all he want to, he won't win anything, but he will annoy you and thats what hes hoping for. I you can speak to him calmly point this out and ask that he stick to the rules so your son won't feel the tension between the two of you. BTW always speak to him calmly, even if you punch a hole in the wall afterwards, because lettling him think hes getting to you is giving him a victory, and he will exploit that.

No he is the dumb one it states that in your divorce decree . You might want to show him that cause he is the one in contempt . I now know why you divorced him. Good Luck.

The only way that you have to meet him is if you live over 100 miles away from each other. If he wants to see his child then he should take on that responsibly. He's just trying to make you feel bad about him not seeing his child don't let him fool you. Hold tight it will all work out eventually.

If it says that in the court papers, then your husband is wrong. However, why don't you both stop being so petty and focus on what is best for your kids?

Not unless you are refusing to allow him to pick up your son for court sanctioned visitation.
