No one can tell you without knowing more about you. However, here are some ideas.

1. First, make a list of careers that you might find interesting, from flipping burgers to brain surgery. Then make a list of your talents and skills. Then compare the two lists. Cross off the careers that you don't have the talents and are unlikely to get them.

For example, you'd like to be an airline pilot, but you have bad eye sight and are afraid of heights. Believe it or not, these MAY be correctable. You could have eye surgery and overcome your fear of heights with the help of a psychologist.

2. Get a career councilor. If you are in high school, talk to your guidance councilor. (S)He should be able to give you some assistance or point you to a good source. If you are in college, talk to your faculty adviser and/or placement office.

3. Certain personality types do better in some careers than in others. Get tested by a qualified provider of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or other personallity/preference test instrument. See the web site below for more information.

I'm a Myer-Briggs "ENTP" PERSONALITY TYPE

DIRECTIVE ENGINEERS - INNOVATORS*

"Ingenious, resourceful in solving new problems, may
neglect routine assignments, turn to one new interest
after another, may not adapt well to standard
procedures, may over-extend, may be
unappreciative of other's input."

That me to a "T".

I really love my job. I have been here 3 years. I look forward to coming to work every day. I am lucky as there are many people who hate their jobs.

Do you currently have a job or are you in school? Your question does not make that clear.

If you are in school, your future job may not be totally related to your studies. If you are currently working and not happy, you should look for another job.
