To be honest. Once you get to level 2 (250 points), the points don't really mean squat! You want to look at points... check out the leaderboard...

I only mention level 2, because that unlocks some features like rating questions and answers.

Points are simply an indicator of how much time someone is spending on this site. What means more to me is someone's best answer percentage. That's a pretty good indicator of what other people think of thier answers.

When someone has a fair amount of points and has a best answer percentage of more than 50%, then I tend to trust thier answers a little more.

back to all of your questions...

1. Am I obsessive/compulsive?

Yep. I think most type A personalities are a little by definition.

2. Longest amount of time spent answering questions?

Maybe a hour or so. I do have other "obsessions".

3. How do you win?

It's not so much "winning", but a good feeling you can get when you know you have helped someone who may have really needed it. It's fun to get a "best answer", particularly when the asker picks your answer as best.

4. Is this a slow and painful mind f**...

I don't think I am in pain. It's not as bad as talk radio! Are you starting to feel influenced?

Seriously-I have trouble sleeping at night. I find this more relaxing than tossing and turning. Sometimes I'm on for 1 hour, sometimes 3 hours, sometimes not at all. It all depends on what is going on with the family, how early my husband goes to bed (if early I may get on the computer when he goes to bed). It all depends on my mood, how much housework is left to do, and when my eyes get heavy. As far as the points go, they are of no relevance to me. I just get on for the questions and to try to answer some and hope I can help one person! And, it's fun to see your opinion in print. That is what makes it fun for me. I don't feel I'm obsessive compulsive. You get points by answering questions, more points if your answer is chosen as the best, & points taken away by asking questions. To me, this is not slow & painful --it is enjoyable, a good way to pass time, and no stress is involved!

I think we are playing for a chance to win a 2007 Pontiac Solstace. The first player to reach 10,000 points wins the car.

I actually do have tendencies to be adicted easily .
Longest time in one day on here was 10 hrs.
You can't actually win , it's just for fun and information .
I think it fun , I'm alone recovering from back surgery , so it helps to keep me sane .
