You have to understand that though we all share many things, people come from all walks of life and have gone through all sorts of experiences. Their parents pass down prejudices or inherent dislikes towards certain personality traits/people in general. People also need constant attention to their self-esteem. People with low self-esteem tend to feel apathetic or depressed and might ignore or upset you without intending to. People with high self-esteem may gain a sense of arrogance and feel the world owes them something. Whatever the case, remember that not everyone does things just to bother people. Many times its a miscommunication or a lack of realization of how what you're doing or not doing affects someone else. I think you've already noticed that this "a$$hole" problem is relatively contagious and when someone puts you into a bad mood you start becoming one yourself. Always remember to just be conscious of the people around you and the affect your actions will have on them. As for everyone else, whom you can't control, try to understand why they failed to act appropriately. You'd be surprised out how something you took total offense to was meant to be taken the completely other way.

I guess that, that is just life! If it would be any other way we would be perfect. We need Jackasses to keep us humans and in some way to keep us alive. Because those are the people that make you feel alive, when you feel angry and rage and that feeling of wanting to do something that how people move on in this world. And maybe by seeing the way they are it makes you want to be different. The important thing is to approach this a$$holes the right way. We do not gain anything by getting bitter, that is actually what they want. ignoring them and showing them that their efforts of making our lives miserable are useless is the best way to combat them.

Welcome to the real world, where there are lots of people who feel the need to be an @S$ and treat people bad every chance they get, homeless people, drugs, gangs, murders, rapes, and so much more.
Be your self and don't change you who are. Hold you head high and have respect for your self, dont let anyone who is just talkin $hit get you down.
You don't say what they are doing. So I am giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you aren't doing anything to them and they are just the rude and smart @$s types of people who are just like that all the time.

hmmm...reminds me of a bumper sticker: "The more people I meet, the more I like my cat."
I understand your frustration, really. But you know, maybe it'll help if instead of getting more and more uptight about these annoyances, simply laugh about them, or look at them from a different perspective. If you really are the optimist you say you are, then you should understand the example of a glass half-filled with water. Would you say the glass is half-empty, or half-full?
Hope that helps and take care! Cheers ;)

Almost everybody is eaten up with Me First disease, and the ones that are not affected by this disease succumb to RTC disease---Resistance To Change. Nobody wants Jesus and Nobody is wrong. This is why Nobody is going anywhere and why Nobody wants to make life pleasant for you. Nobody as any interest in anything else but Nobody's business, which incidentally is none of your business. We are a society of Nowhere people going nowhere because we are Nobodies. No One can change this because no one cares.

Well, you can definately tell that you're feeling bitter. Remember that you will naturally attract people with the same attitudes if you don't make changes within yourself. Start looking for good qualities in yourself and others and you will begin to see the world in a better light.

I can relate to what you are saying. I think people just always in a hurry and they are self-centered. It's all about them and their world. They don't care who they hurt along the way. Just keep a kind heart and forgive them because they don't know any better. Like the Bible says: Forgive them for they know not what they do.

true, but if u let it get to u, u'll get an ulcer or die early from a heart-attack. it's hard to figure ppl out, u really will drive urself crazy thinking about it. just ignore them & don't let them have the satisfaction of knowing they're getting to u. hard as hell when u want to go off on them, but if u do that to ev.x that makes u mad, u'll end up in jail or dead. so just hang in there & try to have a good life anyway.

People are instinctively selfish, they may help others or make others feel bad, but that is a means to an end - helping themselves feel good. Thankfully for you, mean people aren't found everywhere. I think that as you get older you will find more people who are mature and well-balanced. With experience comes wisdom.
