local consignment shops often take wedding & bridal gowns. Or go to the department stores where you are registered and ask the sales people if they know of anyone. The store won't take it back for a trade in or lower price?

you are able to attempt to sell it on ebay. i will worn you, you will no longer get better than $500 and that's if it extremely is an exceedingly intense high quality gown. a marriage gown is perplexing to get rid up for it does have sentimental fee and maximum women folk do no longer prefer any linked feeling that would incorporate a marriage gown. (if it extremely is been used or no longer)

You might be able to return the dress to where you bought it. There's Ebay and numerous wedding retailers willing to compensate you for the price you bought it. If you're feeling generous, you could sell it cheap at Goodwill.

E-bay is the obvious answer. But also you can get a chain email going. Send it out to all your friends, and ask that they send it out to all of theirs with great pics and descriptions.
Also Kaboo.org (not com I don't think). It's a local e-classifieds site.
Another good place might be do the myspace thing, post it on your blog or bulletin as well as your 360 page if you have one.

If you are buying the second gown from the same store, see if they will give you credit for the first. If they won't, I'd buy the second gown from a different store.

Don't sell it. Wear it for the day and go for a stronger colour at night.
