How old were you? I was 3. I remember we arrived at our summer home and I was wandering around thinking how huge it was, and mom was wandering around deciding on chores for everyone.

I have an earlier memory of learning to walk, but it is so vague and foggy, that I do not count it.

I was three and wading in the Pacific Ocean. I went a little too far and the tide swept me up and was carrying me out to sea when my Dad rushed to save me. I can remember seeing water out both sides of my eyes and a roaring noise was piercing my eardrums. Had nightmares for quite a few years about drowning in the ocean. I am now 58 and I still have a vivid memory of the incident to this day.
Funny in that I do not recall a thing prior to that time.

I was probably about 3 as well and it was my first day of preschool. I remember walking in and seeing everything there, I can still see it in my mind, and just remembering not crying when my mother left and just running to all the toys!

I was 3, and I was in my stroller at the zoo near the alligators, with my mom and her extended family. I remember a lot of my family were wearing orange windbreaker jackets. My mom says they were yellow. I think she's wrong.

Hi,

I was four...my sister and I were standing in the surf on a beach in Florida....and I remember watching my feet sink...and I began to cry. I could not lift my feet. I thought I was a goner...( I was being a baby) fear consumed me.

My mother was near by she picked me up and I was so overwhelmed by her touch...I loved her more than anything on Earth.

I think I was 3 or 4... it was probably a dream but it seemed so real! I was in Bangladesh, walking with my two cousins from their school and we stopped by one of the stands and they got me a piece of candy. The candy was absolutely delicious, I think... or remember...

crawling around on some red shag carpet, chewing on a teething ring, thinking that my knees felt like they were stinging from so much crawling, wishing that my folks would stop fighting.
