my wife has a keloid scar from a recent c-section, two different products have been recomended, one is called MEDERMA, the other Kelo-cote, have you used one of them which one should we buy

I've used elastoplast scar reduction patches with good success- scars are now less obvious and much more comfortable than they were before. Mine are "regular" surgical scars, not keloids, but I believe the patches are meant to work fairly well on keloid scars as well. They're also kind to your skin- I am ultra sensitive to adhesive stuff but can wear these with no problems.

Not cheap, but probably about the same cost as mederma.

Try cocoa butter it is relatively inexpensive and great for minimizing scars & keloids.

olive oil may work better, or aloe vera
