This guy and i have known for more than a year, and we used to be in same classes and in same lab.My lab partner and his lab partner always teased me and him..and today i run into him( I haven't seen him for 3 months, but he calls me like once a month or so)..and i told him that am going up to north next semester because of the school..and also told him that I will be traveling next week, and will be back to the US in november. He said he's going to miss me, and i dont know what to say...so i said.."me too."And he wants me to call him before i leave so that we can make a party.
Is it normal or am i just thinking too much? Would u say your friend(girl) "I am going to miss u" if u were him?

yes, i would. but im more sensative that other jocky guys. no im not guy, im happily married with kids now. it really depends on the guy.

Sure you could. He could truely miss you. There are a lot of things to miss about a person. He may miss not talking to you as often or seeing you at all. Then there is the possiblity he could like you as more than friends. However, if you want to remain friends with him, don't think too much about it until he makes a move. Don't stress over it and just think of it as a kind jesture.

You are taking common courtesy and a polite conversation to a whole new level. It didn't mean much. Actions speak louder than words. You only speak once a month and havent' seen him in 3 months- saying "I'll miss you" is just being polite. It's more or less meaningless.... kind of like when they say "I'll call you." Uh huh.

Yes, I would and have said that to my girl friends. If they are true friends and I enjoy talking to them or have fun when I am with them, I would miss them if they were leaving for a while. I think you may be able to count on him as a true friend.
