Does anyone know the detailed mechanism for the oxidation of a primary alcohol with PCC?

PCC stands for Pyridinium chlorochromate

At a guess! The oxidation of primary compounds occur through SN1 mechanisms. This might be different as I am not familiar with the chemistry of PCC or its working mechanism.
