Yes i remember when it ws and they had a McDonal'ds burger that came hotside and cold side.
The song was
Big mac filet-o-fish, quarter pounder french fries, icy coke, milk shake, sundae and applie pies.....
And the happy meals came in those little boxes
The only koolaid flavor i ever knew was red

How about when you could get a hamburger, fries and coke for .98 cents. They did even have toys. When there were only 3 network stations to watch TV from. When you actually got 16 oz of chips in a bag. Grocery stored were only open to 6 and not on Sundays. When you thought that duck and cover was going to save you from nuclear disaster. And they actually had dress codes in schools.

Oh my God yes! I was a Noid for Halloween one year (big ears & all) and won a costume contest!! My ex worked for Dominoes. I still have some of those transformers, too.
Do you remember Zingers with Charlie Brown on them?
Razzles candy?
Grimace? The Hamburglar?
The old Burger King uniforms with the big disco hats?

those were good.
But, how 'bout when McDonald's came in white paper wrappers, the big mac wasn't invented yet, dominos wasn't invented yet, no happy meals, creepy crawlers weren't even an idea, and a snickers bar was 15 cents?
That's how far back I go. Yours was a great shot though!

I remember when Domino's first came out.
I remember when Mickey D's didn't have Happy Meals
When all the good cereals had "sugar" in the name
When there was Burger King and Burger Chef.
Don't make me go on. My birthday is Friday and I may cry right now :(

Yes! Wow, now not only did you bring back memories, but you made me hungry! Remember when they came out with that song and they had the record and if it finished the whole way through you won? Remember how everybody tried to learn it all?
I rememeber the Doritos in the see-thru bag because my sister and I knew how much we could eat in one sitting without getting in trouble! :)

Yes... those were my college years. So was the KFC 99 cent-er and McDonalds luch for a dollar and still get change.
Remember food sticks? Couldn't NOT have one in your Monkees lunch box! Probably way before your time.

I sure do. I also remember when Cracker Jacks had real toys in them, MAD collector cards and stickers, butter came in plastic bowls and cups to match, peanut butter came in a tin with a prize, we had fish on Fridays because of the Cathlolic church, and when H. R. Puffin stuff was on every Saturday morning. Man I feel old. Thanks for the memories.
