Yes. I know quite a few. They believe in a partnership of equals but at the same time recognise that sometimes a man has to be a man, and a woman has to be a woman. They don't want a replacement mother or to control their female partners as though they were children. They actively seek to learn about things from a woman's perspective but don't indulge in stereotypically "blokey" behaviour, especially when other men are around.

maybe not new men, but certainly different. quite often women date several men and all of them seem to be the same. when you take out a new date, think of what you have been doing the past several dates, and make a list and do something creative and different -- make sure it is nice and possible entertaining. the same old dinner and a movie is so old fashioned.

Well knob, don't know about "new" but I do know about "normal" and "nice" blokes.
I have met many "neanderthals" who think they are "normal" too and they are - to themselves and also to "nutters".

Do men still believe they are anything but or ever have been, at our mercy and under our control?
