Check with your local chamber of commerce and also talk to other night club owners and see what they did.

If you have the money then go for it. Although you should know there is a high failure rate when it comes to night clubs but if you have a unique idea it could make it. You need to get a liquor license and business license and since people are going to be consuming alcohol you will need a health inspection on the place that you will be renting. Also if you are going to get a partner do a thorough back ground check. You don't want to partner with just anyone. If you can afford to I would say don't get a partner unless you have no choice.
