I am 25 and I just got out of a 7 year relationship with my ex. I feel like I am might be putting too much expectations on the other guys, but I don't feel like I should settle or lower my standards just for the sake of dating someone.

Have you tried going to church? There are many decent guys (99% are) there who aren't like the rest of the world. They will practice the love principles Jesus taught and won't be like the bunch you find in bars, etc.
I know because I was one of them attending church who didn't get married until I was 24 and was a virgin on my wedding night. My wife and I have been married for 28 years.
Try it, you might get the best blessing of your entire life.
