Guys and girls, both this is directed to. I'm the kind of girl that wears jeans, tanktops/tshirts with my motorcycle boots. I also love cars and know about them and work on them. I do dress up and I can pull off both looks. I'm straight, I'm married to a man. The reason I guess I'm asking is because I get looks from girls and I wonder if its because I'm not the conventional type. Thanks.

Be yourself! I think it takes a well-rounded and interesting person to be able to feel comfortable dressed up or dressed down. You can get dirty, play with the boys and have fun or you can dress up, get girly and still have fun. What's wrong with that? It's beautiful!
As for girls looking...let 'em!

I'm a lot like you, but instead of cars, put in computers, video games and all things nerdy. I wear plain jeans and shirt, but will dress up now and then. I've always been a mix of the two and I would rather it be that way.
I think girlie girls are too fragile and high maintenence to deal with. I get looks from everyone, but it doesn't bother me

I was the world's biggest tomboy when I was growing up. I've toned down some but I'd still rather be dressed in jeans and up to my elbows in some project and NOT be worried about what my hair looks like or if I'll break a finger nail. lol

its a wonderful look my former roommate pulled it off nicely. she was the skater chick type that didnt really care about her appearance from day to day but could dress up nicely when needed. the reason you get looks from girls is they are wondering if you are butch and available.

I think the're funner to be around than girlie girls 'cause they are more open to different experiences and hobbies.I also believe if you have a good balance of both behaviors and styles,it can be very sexy.

I LOVE tomboys- they are usually self reliant, independent and able to laugh at themselves. They usually are sexually aggressive(which is a turn-on for me)- I will take an athletic-self confident tomboy over a prissy princess any day
