Appraisers.
Find them in the yellow pages. They will have a fee though. Or ,do the esearch yourself. They usually have dolls sold on amazon and ebay. Find a doll that is compared to each one of hers and see for what it is sold for and what it buys for. More work but an appraiser can be costly.

Go to the library. They have Collector guides for Barbie dolls and memorabilia with approximate prices, pictures, descriptions, and all.

To find out what they are 'going for' though, look at eBay. The reason is, even if the collector's guide shows something may be worth $X number of dollars, it may not be selling for that anymore.

research on ebay and find out what completed auctions have gone for in the past =) That usually gives you a good guideline on where to start ........ just remember if you are selling on ebay that you can always lower the starting bid next week!
