my brother and I have separate yahoo email accounts on the same pc . I can get the email alert sound and someone coming online with instant messaging but he cant - does anyone know why this is and how we can set it on his account too.

first go to yahoo preference in yahoo messenger.then chose alerts and sound.and active yahoo sound!

comparable right here, purely began the day earlier today. i'm getting emails yet no indicators from the yahoo messenger. the single advice says to uncheck & then recheck the alert container yet i can not locate it. with a bit of luck somebody will are available in with some kinda help.

Your brother might not have enabled the sound option on his login just check it.
