i heard this on oreilly this morning and i am wondering if it is true

What happened was this: The French demanded that the U.S. remove all of it's soldiers from France (this was back in the 1960's). When they made the demand, someone asked if they wanted us to remove the dead ones as well.

This was in reference to the U.S. soldiers who died liberating France during WW II
