I love Indian food. Now that I've travelled to India several times for work though I am spoiled and know the difference between the Indian food here in the US and eating from the source.
Most dishes are very spicy. There are many curry dishes but others as well. I love something called biryani made with saffron flavored basmati (a long grain) rice. It also usually has nuts and raisins and can be made with either chicken or shrimp or just vegetables.
Lamb dishes are plentiful in addition to chicken and shrimp.
You will find a great many vegetable dishes to choose from as well because many Indian people are vegetarian.

I have tasted it, I was a little scared at first, but I'm that way with all foods that are new to me. I have to say, I love Indian Food now! The cool thing is, when my boyfriend and I go out for Indian food, I am more apt to try something new now!

Living here in Arizona we get to experience the pleasure of eating Navajo fry bread quite often and it is quite good.
