I am proud to be an American. I believe we do live in a great nation, despite everything. We have freedoms that many countries desire and live our lives any way that we want. If I want to be a naturalist, doctor, scientist, musician, actor, christian, muslim, or whatever...I have that freedom and opportunity. Say what you will, but we have it pretty good here. As for politics, they are constantly changing for good and for bad. Not all presidents were popular. Like it or not we are one of the super powers of the world, sadly this has also come to equal babysitter of the world. Some countries may not like us but others don't mind us, and some people are begging to come in. Its a big place...I am proud to be a part of this country and can't wait to see what happens good and bad. (thats what makes the world go round, read your history books)

Proud! Not only proud but extremely proud. Forget about the corruption because that is in every country and in other countries it is more. The USA is the best country on the earth. Where else do you get the freedom that we have, the opportunities that are given to us and our families. We the people are who makes up this great country therefore we should only blame ourselves for any corruption there is. Dont blame the president for his shortcomings because we the people voted him in and can vote him out. Hatred is in every country but here in the USA you are not allowed act on hate. In other countries you can ACT ON HATE, kill who you hate and not be prosecuted.
Anyone who is not proud of the USA should pack up and get the heck out.
The illegal aliens that are here in this country are the ones who POLL that they hate us. Just get out!

I am very proud to be an American, this is the best, most blessed country in the world. God has blessed this country far beyond all others, so people should thank him dearly for it. most don't though they just gripe, and wine about everything... YES I am proud of my home land this is where God saw fit for me to be born into this world, and I am grateful..

I do have pride in the US of A. But there is a difference between intelligent, educated pride and chauvinistic, naive, uneducated, trailer-based arrogance.

Pride is a path to the darkside of the force. Be humble, no matter how great something you have is.

I have pride for what it originally stood for but that concept, sadly, has been so corrupted that it may never be salvageable.....
