Some people in the US have a huge appetite for war....thinking about having one here gives them a raging hard-on.

Ben Franklin suggested that in order to keep government accountable a revolution must take place every so often. I don't advocate this at all, but frustration is mounting when the power in power of ALL THREE BRANCHES OF GOV'T and the SUPREME CT continually manipulate election laws and interpretation of election results (in some cases muting a fraction of the population that would other wise tip the scales) to recieve results that are favorable for the party in power. It makes people feel hopeless. However, right now, on this site and many othe rblogs a revolution IS taking place. Technology has leveled the playing field not just here in U.S. but all across the flat world.

Blog sites are getting a faction of the populous, otherwise not concerned, into the process. It has had and will continue to have an effect on voters.

I don't think that it will come down to hand to hand combat, I think it would come out, like it does on here sometimes, as people saying really hateful things about people of a different ideology.

I doubt very seriously if there are enough people in this country that would be willing to put down their latte long enough to engage in a real civil war. If it could be fought on the Internet, it might happen, but only in the hours preceding and after the Oprah show.

Have a look at the partisan answers to Yahoo Questions. You'd almost get the idea that people look upon "the other party" as totally unworthy of living.

You answered yourself. Not so united. The majority of immigrants and illegals are Mexicans and half of them believe the SW US is Mexico. There are many militant types committing acts of war already. They attack blonds and other whites, claiming all Europeans are invaders and have to leave the SW (Mexico) or die. THey lower the American flag and raise the Mexico flag. It's very scary stuff. There are just as many of them as there are of us(other Americans of any race) and they are outbreeding and out-immigrating us. So they have the numbers and the hatred to do it. Web search Mexica, Aztlan, La Raza, SOS, and Maywood California to learn more.
