has anyone ever wondered why do all these people spend so much time on george bush when they have much bigger and pressing problems in thier home countries, it seems that they dont see any other thing in this world ,cuba is an economic and civic mess but fidel castro's only focussed about USA , same goes for venzuela , bolivia, iran, syria etc etc . what is with USA that they dont look at their own country?? what fun or personal satisfaction do these people derive ??

It's easy to blame the US for all the world's problems. It lets them avoid doing anything to help not only their own citizens but those of their neighbors. For example - if Iran is so close to Darfur, why won't they help those people? The US is helping out, yet we never hear of these terrorists like Chavez and the idiot from Iran ever helping anyone else. Iran should have a ridiculous surplus of money yet they would rather spend it on weaponry.

Hello? Care to ask the same question about George Bush?
Besides, you make the horribly flawed assumption that every speech that these people make gets on US TV!! Please!! The American media only covers it if they DO talk about the US!! In fact, you could make a strong argument that Bush spends a larger percentage of his time worrying about everybody else except his own country then they do!
Unravel your cocoon and at least try watching BBC World News once in your life. Things that have nothing to do with America happen in other countries every day! Amazing but true!

these men are not simply anti-Bush, they're anti-American and all the liberals in this country are going to wake up with a big hangover when the new president is sworn in jan 2009 and they're still preaching 'down with america'. this wave of anti-Americanism is about much more than just George W. Bush.

They are attending the UN general assembly meeting as representatives to their countries, just as Bush is attending as our representative. They are entitled to express their opinions, which by the way, are shared by many more countries than those you listed. Many nations do not want the U.S. butting into their affairs. Many believe the U.N. should be more democratic and the U.S. should not be given preferential treatment.

because there is comfort in agreeing with others who don't have a real agenda for their countries either. america is a great power, and they don't like it. they are afraid their own countrie's people will want to have the same voice that the american people do.

Because there is a danger that the USA will, God forbid, invade these countries, like it did to Yugoslavia and Iraq.
