About two wheel scooter sell?

i sell my scooter to my friend one year befor with signature on transfer papers... but because of busy work schedule he unable to transfer taht scotter, i like to safe my sife so one of my friend told me about notry . i will make a notary. is this ok... let me know... required your expert sugg please

You could land yourself in trouble in case of any accident with that scooter. You cannot escape "vicarious liability". So better to get your scooter insured against any third party claims or get it transferred in name of your friend.
