Desensitized people are susceptable to easy influencing. I can't blame a overworked, underpaid, never appreciated, parent of 2 or 3 kids; they have time to watch and critically analyze Newshour PBS, or CSPAN or All things Considered. The quality of the info and its packaging makes impressions which, sadly, get to the voting booth.
Well, if they can find the freakin time and polling place they need.
And they have the proper identification-if the legislation up for vote in congress NOW is successful.
I don't hate political opposition. I hate that the people who have a position about anything, aren't able to see the forest through the abortion or iraqi or social security tree.
I vote in every election, I listen and respect other's opinions.
And those 2-3 kids? How do we get them a chance?

Yes, they are. Because the voting poupulation does not know who is the real culprit (bad candidate for the office). Honesty in politics should be the main reason for running for office, not how much the candidate can gleem profit for himself/herself.
I usually weigh all the odds or all the worthwhile success each candidate has achieved in his or her lifetime up to this point, then try to make an informed choice.
But it is extremely hard with negative political campaign adverstisements.

Negative gotcha ads appealling to emotion are dishonest and manipulative. But they are effective if used properly. Your best tool to combat them is between your ears, and a quick Wikipedia search.

large question. i think of a few electorate would spend extra time to think of over to verify their vote grew to become into mind-blowing, nevertheless i think unfavorable classified ads make some people leap to conclusions. We do be responsive to how the government works we purely want to overlook approximately what we choose. to illustrate the gasoline tax holiday is a bad theory, all of us be responsive to it yet no longer many people would be laid low with it by way of fact the have the incorrect priorities for the factors of a god president. all of us be responsive to suitable from incorrect all of us be responsive to what's a gimmick and what's actual. regrettably all of us purely want to verify what we choose.

show me one politician who says they will only vote for whatever 51% of his constituates want, dispite his own opinions. they got my vote. isn't that what we hire them to due? if 51% or more want A ,and he favors B, he is supposed to vote A ,that's his job ,to represent we the people, not to tell us what he thinks we need .
