I'm writing a piece for an encyclopedia on what type of health care is given in prisons. This modality will include a segment on psychological care. I was wondering if anyone wanted to contribute information?

I have a boyfriend that is currently locked up in prison and he has paranoid schizophrenics. The Dr. there has taken him off one medication to only put him on another which this new one isn't doing the job. Plus, he has lessened the dosage, but it's not the Dr.s that you have to worry about it is the individuals themselves. Once they "wake up" they don't want or think they need their medications. I know this by living with this man for seven years.
