IBA Functional Roles

Marketing: The Marketing function will help establish and communicate the strategic vision of IBA. Duties may include: driving programs and projects to completion through various marketing channels, which includes all aspects of internal and external marketing communications. These methods may involve positioning the image of IBA both on and off campus, helping to enhance IBA's presence on campus, creating strategies to promote upcoming IBA events.
Technology: The Technology function will be responsible for the definition, implementation, and overall development of the technology aspects of IBA. Increasing the level of technology process maturity with infrastructure and development is essential. Duties within this function will include: website development, database management, and exploring new technologies for possible future implementation.
Corporate/Public Relations: The Corporate/Public Relations functions will contact, network and maintain strong relationships with all externally involved parties. Duties may include: initiating and fostering communications with companies and persons involved in the development of IBA, maintaining catalog of contacts with technology function, building relationships with other IU organizations and student placement offices.
Finance: The Finance function is responsible for a variety of financial projects. These duties may include: budgeting, event expense forecasting, processing of accounting data, membership dues collection, maintain SOA (Student Organization Association) account details and purchasing card.
Logistics: The Logistics function will coordinate all areas of operations to ensure the most effective use of resources and to meet the needs of all parties associated with IBA. Duties will include: project management, event scheduling, project conflict resolution, pricing negotiations,
