NO. Potions and spells are magic solutions to problems and questions people have. When a person casts a spell, sometimes the predicted outcome of the spell happens and sometimes it doesn't happen. When it happens the spell is said to have worked, when it doesn't happen this is ignored. Potions are actually the forerunners of modern medicine and pharmaceutical cures and treatments. With roots in alchemy, potions actually do have a basis in real and working medicine, however, generally speaking potions do not work.

does prayer work? prayer and spellcraft is almost exactly the same theory in different formats with different divinity.

As for potions, I think you've been watching a few too many movies. Leave the "boil boil toil and trouble" to shakespeare's weird sisters.

Various teas and infusions of herbs in boiling water however, are regularly used as home remedies. How many times has your mother given you chicken noodle soup or herbal tea when your sick with the flu? How many times have you seen stress reliever tea mixes with chamomile and peppermint? Its the same concept.... different scents and chemical combintions of herbs will have different effects on the human body and mind.

I'm not sure, but a hissing Cat does wonders for deterring stalkers, if that is your goal. Whatever you do, don't throw a broom into the mix- Cats don't fly well, contrary to popular myth. Ever travel with one in a car?

Why do people insert "lol" into their messages so much? Is is something like teenagers saying "like" every other word? I know what it stands for, but in most contexts, it is meaningless.
