Let's start by sweeping the floor.
There are no misspellings in the question so some one is "so bad."
A question on its face cannot be ignorant. Ignorance is the lack of knowledge, which prompts the question to find that knowledge. Answers, on the other hand, can be ignorant, such as some of the beautifully demonstrative answers above.
As far as answering the question posed is concerned, there are virtually no measures being taken to guard against any terrorist action involving these rolling bombs on rails. We who work operating those trains have been screaming about the problem for a few years now, and all of our concern has fallen on deaf Democrat and Republican ears.
Nearly every train operating at this very moment is carrying enough explosive or nasty stuff erase a town, literally. Think I'm kidding? Do this. Find access to US Postal Zip codes, prior to 1973, and check on a code for the town of Antelope, California. Now check for the same code after that date. You won't find one. That is because on the morning of April 28, 1973, that town was vaporized by 16 or 17 car loads of 750 Lbs bombs that exploded.
As far as Crawford is concerned, I doubt that terrorists were involved. These monsters seem to be quite efficient, and I would suspect they would have made sure of a bigger result for their efforts.
