There are too many bandwagon members who have attached themselves to this question. It is so overrun with assholes it's hard to get my point across. Anyway I will go out on a limb and say the Dodgers and Athletics
Everyone forgets about these teams (the Athletics have nearly clinched while the Dodgers are right there) Everyone always expects the expected. Ever seem the movie Miracle, yes exactly anything can happen, so stop assuming it's going to be the Mets and Yankees. Both teams could eat **** in the playoffs, so stop eating **** people

I would love to be able to say two teams other than New York teams. But,I will be a man and say the New York Mets are going to the World Series. But it will be either Oakland or Minnesota they face and not the Yankees.

None.

If, by some MIRACULOUS stroke of luck neither the Mets nor the Yankees got to the World Series...

Minnesota Twins vs. L.A. Dodgers

Why bother. Both NY teams are best in their leagues. Mets have the best National League record and the Yankees have the best American League record.

In my observation we will see the Twins in the world series this year and asuming the Mets don't make it we will see St Louis

dodgers and twins...johan santana is pretty much a lock to win two games by himself every series...dodgers offense is tremendous with playoff experience...both teams having good closers and middle releif could be interesting
