What kind of wild animal? When I was younger we had a baby raccoon. She was very mean at first, and then she became the nicest pet ever!!! We had a huge three story cage she lived in, and we would bring her in our house, and she would wak around like a cat. She would comb your hair, and give you kisses. We got her because her mom died. We lived by a creek and would let her out and run around. She would go down to the creek and get fish and bring them back to her cage. She lived with us until she died about five years ago. RIP Bandit. But we had to train her alot. So it is not a very safe thing to do. It depends what kind of wild animal. I have a friend who has a wild crow as a pet, and a squirrel.

Yes, right up until when they rake you and eat your children. No reason to cheat death, just get a domesticated house pet.
