Im going to be straight honest with you...
Boston a very good city.
Pros: One of the only (besides I think maybe New York, Chicago?) walkable cities in the northern East side, the transportaion convience is absolutely absurd, the education scene spills over into residential look of the city, nobody loves sports or has a better sports broadcasting station than we do, we have great parks, we also are home of the Boston Pops (which is awesome, I've been to a concert...or 2) so that doubles come New Years and 4th of July, and the safety of walking the streets is relatively good (save for summertime when things tend to peak)
The Cons: The cost of living in what probably the most convient city in the country is so stupid its not even funny. The T (or transit system) raises the fees almost every year (because they know that people will pay)...in fact, this state/city is so friggin greedy, but dont alway hold to their responsibilities, case and point...for years tax payers of this city were paying out of their A sses to the big dig...one was recently rewarded by having a huge friggin slab of concrete fall on her car from the ceiling on our highway underpass...which also cost an arm leg, and apparently a crushed corpse to drive through.
Boston is a great city, if you're into education, the sciences, or can afford it. Winters get chilly though.

Boston is a great city, so it has a ton of pros (culture, things to do, great sports teams, good school system, close to so many different things). . .The only cons would be if you don't like the winter weather, and the fact that it's expensive to live here.

Pros - beautiful women college co-eds. Great walking city with the T. That's it.
Cons - John Kerry, expensive, no bathrooms for the public, schools are awful, crime is high, welfare leaches at every turn, and Ed Kennedy.
