My dear old mum, God rest her soul told me this... the best form of revenge is success!Seeing the look on your enemy's face as you get on in the world and enjoy your life and not give them a moments thought is much better than plotting and scheming to pay people back and getting all bitter. I believe there is such a thing as karma(of sorts) and what goes around certainly does come around.

I don't think so. So what if you succeed? That person may take their revenge on you someday, and so there will be no end to it. It may make your life worse as you need to always watch your back, therefore you may not have a moment of peace.

I think that those who have hurt you, their retribution will come, only a matter of time. It may not be in this lifetime, it could be next. I have read books on past lives, although I know that not everyone believes of rebirth, I have read somewhere before that in this life if a person hurts you, in the next life, he may be repaying you back in some way.

So why have revenge? These people will have their just desserts. I think that no humans are worthy to judge others, as we sometimes have done wrong, no one can say in their whole entire life they have done no wrong or harbor wrong thoughts, so only God can judge.

If it helps you get closure then definitely.

I'm a great fan in subtle revenge though. Like putting prawns in the curtain pole so the room starts to smell after a few days and they have know idea where it's coming from or by place baking soda on a mattress and rubbing it in so that it makes them smell and they start to itch.

I won't bore you with the details, but I was married to a very abusive man. After the divorce was final, one of my guy friends came to me and asked me if I would like to have the "ex" taken out. I declined the offer, explaining that it would end any opportunity for ex to learn the lessons he needed to in this life. Once I got out of the way (thru divorce) God started dealing with this man and things began happening to him that I could never dream up. I did not have to waste my time, energy or conscience. Just as an example: Ex is a mechanic. For no good reason his car spontaneously caught fire & burned to the ground. There's much more but my point is this: What goes around comes around. You just have to step back out of the way.

I wouldn't do anything to get revenge on someone, I would sit back ,watch and wait. Their time will come eventually - Guaranteed.

Revenge is delicious...but rememember that it is a dish best served cold. *licks lips* It is not for the weak of mind though. think before you act and always take into account the long-term effects. otherwise. have fun and hope it works out for you.

No, it generates bad karma, plus it makes you as bad as the person who scorned you in the first place.
