I looked under and behind the sofa today, as a matter of fact. I found a tie, a fly swatter, one of those punk things you light fireworks with, an empty bag that had chips in it and about 10 crayons and pencils. And I found dog poop, but I still have no idea how the dog got under the couch. He's little, but geez, there's not that much room!

Perhaps an old dog bone, a sock or two. Maybe if I'm lucky I'll find some money, but nothing really exciting.

I have done this often, may be once in six-seven months. I get loose small coins dropped by by little daughters, hair-bands, safety pins, all-pins, used staples, cigrette ash, tobacco dropped from full cigerettes, small bits of papers with sometimes very useful information and of course my wife's little belongings like hair studs, kids' rubber-bands, little bits of paper with their drawings or maths practice or English spelling-check dictation papers that we often ask them to have. It gives me a happy feeling going thru these things once in a while. Thanks.

I looked last week and I found paper, money, toys, baby bottle caps, socks, pens, crayons, school work, all sorts of stuff.
