HTML uses tags to tell a web browser (Like Firefox and Internet Explorer) how to deal with lines of text, images, and the overall look of web pages. The tags are enclosed in <> characters (like Near the top of the page). There are hundreds of different tags which are explained on the web pages referenced above. The best way to learn HTML is to look at the page source of simple pages or, using a text editor like NotePad (I would not recommend MS Word because you will have to close MS Word to see any changes you make, with NotePad you just have to Save what you have written), just start trying it out.
It is not difficult to learn once you get the hang of it.

HTML lets you add a little ummph to your mail. You can change text color, Underline, italicize, bold print, add pictures , documents , even add emoticons( the funny little faces, some animated) All you have to do is try one thing at a time with a little practice , you can get the hang of it. Practice, Practice, Practice. Maybe you have a tutorial on your computer about HTML. It shouldn't be hard to find if available.

every html file needs the following:
html uses tags like above for everything. within the you can put the title of your file. something like homepage or whatever describes that particular page. within the body is where you would anything that you would find on a website. to find tags to use, you need to search on the internet or buy a book. there are way too many to describe on here. you are welcome to message me if you want some more information. good luck!
