i was wondering..my breast has been a bit sore for the past week and i took a preg. test and it was negative. i think i am pregnant. has anyone had their symptoms of pregnancy for a certain amount of time before you tested? or did you test right away? my period was suppose to be on the 6th of Aug, so im two weeks late today. some say to wait another week, some say their didnt detect till they were two months preg. what were your first symptoms?

my first symptoms was missing period and morning sickness mabey you should go to doctor and let them do a blood test. I had surgery when i was 3 weeks pregnant test came back negative i was lucky to carry my baby with no problems. You also can go to www.askamy.com to find out more

I took my test 3 days after my period didn't show up and it was positive. I would think you could take it at any time and it should be accurate. The first symptom I really noticed was breast tenderness, but other than that I just felt different. Nothing I could really identify, just different.

If you are 2 weeks late it sounds likely you are either pregnant or there is some other problem- Maybe call your doctors office and see if the advise nurse can give you any info just to cover the bases. They may want you to come in for an appt and blood test to be sure.

You should be able to take a test now and it should be pretty accurate. Take it first thing in the morning, and buy the double pack, take one now, and wait a week and take the other if you need to. and if that one still says no and you still feel crappy, then go to your doc. Who knows, you might even feel better by then.

Your pregnancy test could be very wrong...it is true that your test might not be acurate for months after you get pregnant
