That would be an awesome final!
But,you know with Gary Bettman running things, that he will arrange for some way to get a U.S. based team in the final. An all Canadian final would not go well with the U.S. television coverage.

Flames and Sharks will battle it out for the Western Conference final. Both have the bulk of their teams intact and have made some minor changes to improve themselves.

As for out East.....not the Sens, I think they might have their struggles this year. The Rangers might be able to improve enough and Philly might come through...that seems like a wide open Conference.

The best two teams at what?????????? No way. The flames might make the playoffs but I don't see the Sens getting there.

Wel I know it's not going to be the Blues. I am convinced that they will never win the Cup in my lifetime. They get to hotheaded late in the playoffs and take crasppy penalties. Of course this is assuming they make the playoffs this season.

Calgary will only make the Finals if they somehow clone Jarome Iginla, and have four lines of him. Seriously, check out their second, third and fourth lines - do those look like Cup winners to you?

If any Canadian team has a shot this season, I'd go with the Senators.

I'd like to see Ottawa make it. But they have a history of having a good team that chokes by playoffs. I would need huge odds to pick them.

Calgary?? Your living in the past. They didn't make it past the first round. And there are a lot of Western teams that could have beat them in a best of 7.

Flames yeah, but Ottawa's only good in the regular season. They can't do anything in the playoffs. I think Philly or NYR.
