We left. After the Tet offensive wherein THE cheating NORTH VIETNAMESE AND VIET CONG BROKE the classic PEACE TREATY, the quantity of yankee civilians against the conflict grew to become into too lots for the government to handle. if that they had stayed in to any extent further, they in all probability might've been overthrown. We had no determination yet to circulate away. The final helecopters to circulate away have been packed so tightly with squaddies and south vietnamese that there have been human beings incredible onto the legs, tails, each thing that they could grab directly to and hang off of untill they landed on the U.S. distributors. there have been an incredible type of human beings, that as quickly because of the fact the helecopters landed, they had to roll them off of the ships to make room for greater human beings. below an afternoon as quickly as we left vietnam, the north vietnamese took administration over the capitol of south vietnam. there grew to become right into a mass massicre afterwards. 1000's of south vietnamese women and young ones have been killed in user-friendly terms for being south vietnamese. And so, Vietnam flew a comunist flag from then on. some human beings say that there ought to nevertheless be American squaddies over there that the vietnamese captured. There may well be, yet we are going to in all probability on no account understand.

Same situation as Iraq right now. America invades with some valiant cause as a cover for political agenda. Millions of dollars are wasted, many many lives lost, and we run home with our tail between our legs.
