I have seen the coolest pictures,obviously not one of the choices we are offered. How do you do it??? (Keep in mind, I am VERY new on the computer.) Thank you.

Heartstrings...I finally got as far as the browser. Whenever i click on a picture(I have pulled from the computer) this is what happens.."Error: Your image must be a jpeg file, either .jpg or .jpeg." However, when I enter a photo that someone took with their camera that I put in MY PIUCTURES, it works. Darn.

I think I figured it out. When I do not rename a photo,it works. I need to leave it with all the letters,it originally came with. Give me some time to completely do this!!

Oh oh....I know the answer to this. LOL I just had to do it. I didn't want a corny avatar, so I had to figure it out on my own. There's really no instructions.
Anyways, you have to start your 360 page. Add the photo you want to the photos. Upload it....it's easy and step by step. Once you do that, you come back here to Answers. Then where you "edit your info/profile" here, you select the "use 360 photo". Then you pick out the pic from the 360 page you want to use. You have your new Y! Answers pic avatar.
I hope this is enough detail. It's really easy to do.
If you need more detail, drop me a note with added details to this question and I'll try to explain it more in depth. Once you get to both these places though, it really is step by step.
EDIT: ok, be patient my friend. Let me walk myself through the process so I can tell you. I shall return with more in depth steps.
EDIT2: Ok Sunshine, here's the process:
go to your 360 page (you can do this in the Answers "my Q&A area)
click on "home" (NOT Yahoo 360 home)
on the left, click on "edit personal photos"
it'll open a page with open areas and a "browse" button
use the "browse" to find the pic on your pc that you want to use (you can do this up to 4 times/pics)
set the "primary" by clicking the dot
then "save"
you can exit 360 and go back to Answers
go to "my Q&A" and "edit my info"
under PICTURE, click the dot for "use my 360 picture"
your primary pic should appear
"preview"
"ok"
And there you are!!
EDIT3: The name could be it. And they must be in JPG format. Unfortunately, GIF format shows up, but then won't load. I have to teach religion tonight, so keep me posted and I'll walk through it again if need be.

I haven't seen any choices for old, chubby, grey haired geezers, so I had to go with the one that was close to what I once looked like. For a while, I did have my photo visible there, but I got too many insults from youngsters. I think some people are drawing their own and using them instead of the photograph option.

hmmm you just need to get a 360 yahoo page... and then in edit photos you download the picture you want.. and upload it.... and that it... you will get your picture..
