i have just been in a pub and a bloke came in with a knocked off box of leather gloves, and every female in the pub (15+), and i mean all of them bought a pair or two,

bunch of sado's... I personally dont like them, give me a pair of nice woolly ones !!! or do you think its cos they are cheap, that women find they HAVE to have them.. that is actually what i think it is

Well I am loads of pairs of leather gloves as they are a fab and stylish thing to wear - granted I'm into retro 50s stuff so gloves finish an outfit.
But those in the pub might just have wanted a decent pair of gloves. Leather gloves from a good retailer cost in excess of £15 so anything that's cheaper than that has to be snapped up. And they are not necessarily for them - their grannies and mothers would love a pair of gloves and christmas is only 3 months away.

I'm a Female also. I have a pair of leather gloves. It's just a Trend and a Hot Style. A woman wears a pair of leather gloves at least once a year

I love leather gloves, they are great in the winter, especially when your driving. Wish I'd have been there, I would have bought some.

May I suggest that it was not the gloves that was the attraction but the thought of a bargain.Women just cannot refuse a bargain.

as they are alot better than wooly gloves keep your hands warmer plus last alot longer than wooly ones so why not buy them at a lower price like the rest o them did
