The 60gb one is going to be £425 but there is one that Isn`t as good the 20gb one is going to be cheaper like £350 or summat.

The average quote from most e-tailers seems to be between £400 & £600 depending on which version you go for (HD/no HD). Like Microsoft did last year with the X-Box 360 which as you'll know wasn't blu-ray enabled. The fact that the PS3 does play HD blu-ray discs and given that, at present, there's hardly any dedicated blu-ray players on the market selling for any less than £900. The PS3 will be expensive but still a pretty good deal (sortof). It's given Microsoft the jitters because they are set to anounce a new version of the X-Box 360 with a built in blu-ray drive (in addition to the external drive lined up for existing models). Mainly though the overall spec of the PS3 looks awesome.

The PS3 will be released in Japan on November 16th. It will be released in North America on November 17th. The European release will be sometime in March 2007.
The PS3 will cost $600 for the high end model, which will have a 60 gig hard drive and all the extras built in. The lower end model will cost $500 and will only have a 20 gig hard drive, you will have to buy all the extras separately.

I work in a games shop and we took pre-orders on it before it got delayed till March. We were going to be retailing it at £425 but I'm not sure if this included any game with the console or anything.
I am assuming it won't become any more expensive just because it has been delayed for months.

I heard the same as the person above me: between $499 & $599 depending on the model chosen. There was recently an article about it on CNNMoney.com.

I read in an article in Wired that it will cost at least $500.00, I know they are crazy making it that expensive. I also read that if PlayStation 3 doesn't sell well PlayStation might go out of business.

the version is merely memory of the difficultchronic does he plan to keep lots of stuff in his PS3? one hundred twenty gigabyte is plenty already (it is like what, a hundred and fifty video clips, or 24,000 songs, or eighty 4,000 photos). He does not choose the 250GB. He could be happy getting a 120GB PS3, i know i could. it is extremely like the suitable recent ever.
