These didn't happen to me but they're really "strange." A friend of mine was conducting an interview and the woman she was interviewing said, "Excuse me but my underwear is growing." Freaked my friend out! LOL Another was told to me by this friend. It happened to a friend of hers (they were both interviewers for a temp service). The gal was the last employee there that night and was interviewing a man. She noticed that he had checked the box saying he had been arrested for a felony. She had to ask why (legally) and he said, "Rape." Needless to say, this gal just about fainted. But everything worked out OK. As it happened, the friend came back a few moments later, she'd forgotten something, and then they all left together. Neither of them ever conducted an interview alone again!

It was a huge interview, with five or six people interviewing me. I was on the short list, and was excited to get so close to getting the job. About three-quarters of the way through the interview, I guess someone had the sense to look at my CV again, and realized I wasn't "legal age" for this job at the university dorm, so all was for naught. I was so not impressed!!

I was surprised that it was a group interview of 6 people, all eyes on me, taking place in an un-airconditioned room. One of the women interrupted me halfway through a question to snap "no. that's not answering my question" That pretty much put a damper on the rest of the interview, my nerves were shot, I was sweaty and blushing from that point.

I did end up getting the job, somehow, and later found out that everyone hated the above mentioned *****...

I always hated being asked why I wanted to leave my current job. What do you say to that? Becuase it sucks! My boss is an idiot. The company blows. Tough question to answer and look good to the interviewer.

The man interviewing me, out of his home, kept me in his place and sexually harassed/assulted me. I was seventeen and I charged him and went to court, etc. They found out he had pimp charges in Detroit. Apparently the interview, that had been set up by a gov't agency for student jobs, was for a hooker. Good times.

Went in prepared to sit down with one person, it ended up being a group interview...very annoying. I felt they should have let me know they were planning on that format.
