You are anonymous on here, and someone you knew just happened to your page and started looking through your questions and answers, would theyrecognize you, be able to identify you?

In other words, do you reveal enough detail about yourself to be identifiable to those that know you, or do you play it close to the chest?

Interesting question. I have shared a couple of stories from my life to illustrate certain points, and you could probably guess where I live and what I do for a living. You would have to work at it though. I think the odds of somebody looking at your answers and saying "hey! thats Alice Jones!" are pretty slim.

I don't care if someone I'm acquainted with knows what I'm doing on the web. If it weren't for the need to guard against idiots, I'd put my real name up. As for being identified by what I post, however, I doubt that that's possible. Most of the questions I answer are humorous ones, and the details that go into them are, as often as not, pure fiction in the interest of being funny, if I can.

Well I don't think I reveal alot about myself, although people that really know my, could recognize me, because no matter what the question is, I'm honest even when I know I'll be getting alot of "thumbs down" and that's just how I always am, so yeah people that really know me could recognize me just by reading my answers.

To those that know me? They would know it was me from the first sentence they read, even if I wasn't using a picture of myself as my avatar. I am an open book, and I love to tell the little anecdotes that have happened to me throughout my life because as I'm telling someone else about it, I'm reliving it myself.

I don't reveal too much info as to where someone could say yes, that's such & such - but my answers are my way of thinking and honest answers coming from my experience and some are my way to answer funny. It's definiately ME!

When I answer questions i keep the information to the question. Sometimes people answer and their personality will show through in the way they answer things, by their wording, ideas...etc...

I just answer questions, only once did I mention my sons name. Other than that I don't get really personal.
