You are not alone, but soon you will just be an interesting footnote. Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species and your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.

I believe that we are alone in the galaxy. After all, the MilkyWay Galaxy, being the one we all take residence in, is insignificantly small in comparison to the Universe. Given that life anywhere is fragile(by our beliefs anyways, since we need a number of things to live, including oxygen and some kind of sustainence to provide energy), it is improbable that life exists somewhere else in our Galaxy, or at least, intelligent life. However, in the Universe, being that it is incomprehensibly large and ends only when there ceases to be matter of any sort(space), it seems almost foolish to believe there aren't any intelligent life forms besides ourselves.

It is very surely there are at least few millions of planets in our galaxy that have flourishing life like ours. The big problem is we think we are the universal master something but actually we still do not have any technology to detect heart beat on the other corner of the galaxy. Who knows we are still in stone age level who just as few as 6 billion members of small tribe according to galactical Constituitional standart.

Enrico Fermi has the best answer for this and he really sums it up.the human race has only been around for a few million years and not in our present form.we've evolved since then and only in the past century have we been able to send messages.not very long at all.supposing that there is a alien life force out there and can receive them one we hope that they have the equipment and two they aren't destroyed before our message gets to them and like wise in reverse.in other words there has to be a significant overlapping of time between the two parties due to the distance.as it takes light years to reach other galaxies and places.

This question is more philisophical than scientific, but if you were to assume that 1 star in 999 trillion had planets; and that one in a 999 million of those planets were capable of supporting life; and that one in 50 million of those capable of supporting life housed an intelligent life form, then there could be hundreds of thousands of civilizations out there. We may never know of them. 50 million planets even in our galaxy would be spaced so far apart, we would never reach it in our life time, our childrens lifetime, and our grandchildrens lifetime, and so on...

No.we are not alone at all..
we live in Solar system....and basically, our Earth is in milky way.
SO there are many Solar systems in the Universe as the Universe has no end....
that is why there is going to be something living organisms like us in the Universe

Depends; are we talking about micro-organisms - which is technically living - or other beings?
We might never know, but from one of my favourite movies, this quote, about if we're alone: "If we are, then it would be a lot of waste of space."
Watch: Contact w/Jodie Foster

Personally, I don't think we are, unless it's us, and we are existing in parallel universes
