Do NOT lie. This is really really just a horrible idea. Is it worth losing him when he finds out... bc he will. Just bring him along. If you aren't doing anything wrong, then bring him. If he doesn't want to go tell him you are going anyway. You aren't lying. Just asking permission is a little harder than asking for forgiveness. You are your own person. Take control of your life. Don't let someone control you.

Do you really want to live your life like this? Him being crazy-jealous when you're doing nothing unreasonable, and you having to lie about what you're doing?
Tell the truth. If he can't handle the truth, dump him. There are lots of other guys in the world, you don't need one who seeks to control your life and regularly flips out on you for no good reason.
I would recommend dumping the guy immediately, but if you don't want to do that, at least tell the truth. You don't want to build your relationship on a foundation of lies; that'll just confirm all his worst fears.

lieing will get you no where, well except the fair, and when you get back hell will break loose. Lieing is never good. Look... I am going to just say it. You have a mind of your own. And if you think you should go then go. But don't lie to him. Just think about how you would feel if he asked to go without you..Would you have reservations? Talk to him, and if he still doesn't want you to go then you have a decision to make, andthen the consiquences.

It sounds like your boyfriend is insecure and has trouble trusting you. If you lie and you get caught he will never trust you again...and then you can forget your annual trip and maybe even lose a boyfriend. You have to be honest with him, instead of lying sit him down and tell him "Babe, I have to go to this fair you have to learn to trust me. You have no worries and I promise that I will call you and keep in touch. But if you want this relationship to remain strong if you have to let me go!"

If you have to lie to him why are you seeing him? If you don't want to take him with you why are you seeing him? He sounds possessive and insecure , lying to him is going to make matters worse not better. He could find out . Talk to him . You aren't messing around on him are you? and if you are again why are you going out with him ?Either he is going to have to trust you or you two will never last . No trust , No relationship.
