No. However being secretive is disturbing to anyone who expects honesty from their mate. My Grandfather told me once, if you go looking for something, you just might find it. So now that the cat is out of the bag, the real question is, What to do. Well since you can't stop him, accept him. Obviously he has issues that are very personal, be supportive, and love him in spite of his actions. Talking about it won't change his mind. Pray and trust God to work it out for the good. Don't feel bad, the shoe could be on the other foot, it could be you who is trying to alter something about yourself. So count yourself blessed.

That's true. It's a loop hole in the relationship that causes many many many divorces every year. You have to be telling something other than the truth to actually lie. The rules of engagement regarding holding back information is between the 2 of you. If you asked him if he was using and he said NO then that would be a lie and in turn you would be able to kick him in the nuts.

Yes drugs affect both your lives. I am sure he had to buy them and that money comes from your household account so this is a betrayal were it something insignificant I would say it's ok to not tell your partner somethings but this is different this is an addiction. This can destroy your family as well as making him impotent and lets face it when you took your vows it was with the understanding that he would attempt to take care of himself to give you what you need I assume as a married woman that making love to your husband is important to you so even if he can deny how dangerous the drug is no man can deny the primal need for a sexual partner see a therapist for his sake and good luck to you both sometimes it's hard to be married but the world is a better place because of married couples.

Omitting the truth is also considered lieing. Especially if you two are married. He has every right to tell you what he's doing, and vice-versa, whether or not you ask him. It's a partnership. This isn't High School anymore.
So, yes, omitting the truth is lieing, especially considering the circumstances.

"Withholding of information is the same as a lie"
Yes. He lied to you and he should be clarified on what a lie is, punished for his bad behavior and should understand that in a marriage, you don't take drugs behind your spouses back. End of story.

Doesn't matter to me whether it's a lie or not--it's darn close to a deal breaker given the effects that steroids can have on the human body.

Its not a lie per say but its keeping things from you. How would he like it if you were not honest and upfront with him about certain things and he would find out. He wouldn't!
