Maybe before you go to Chem class you should stop in your Grammar class -- your question should read, "I be in school. . .".

I think some general properties are: density, color, surface texture, acidity, tensile strength, reflectivity, opacity, state (that is, is it a solid, liquid, or gas)

PS - just funnin' with you on the opening remark. I have no intentions to embarass or belittle you.
