of being positive or negative ? because im having A LOT of the symptoms of being pregnant. and its around the same time that me and my man had sex. so i dont know but i need help!!????!

The early symptoms of pregnancy are very much like those from pms. Wait a few more days and if still no period then retest.

It is best to wait until you actually miss your period for a few days to a week to give the HCG levels a chance to rise if you are pregnant. When doing the tests before your period is due there is a higher chance of a false negative.

Most tests are accurate enough that you can take them 3-5 days before your missed period. If you got a positive though and are still bleeding, you need to get to your doctor. Sometimes its normal to continue having periods during pregnancy but any bleeding after a positive pregnancy test needs to be reported to your doctor.

It should not effect the test. If it came back negative then your not.
